Your First Visit

Know every step before you walk in.

Here is exactly what happens, step by step. No surprises.

  1. Call us. Reach us at 203-680-0030, Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–4:30 pm.
  2. We verify your insurance and call you back. You’ll know what’s covered before you’re seen.
  3. Finish your new-patient packet. Due to healthcare and prescribing regulations, we can’t schedule your first visit until all information, insurance, and consents are received. We help you finish every form.
  4. Your first visit — usually by video, from wherever you feel comfortable.
What should I have ready?
  • A photo ID
  • Your insurance card
  • A list of your current medications
  • Your pharmacy’s name and location
  • Your completed new-patient packet (PDF)
What will we talk about?

Your story. What’s been hard lately. What you want to feel like again.

Honest answers help us help you. You will never be judged for them.

Will you hospitalize me if I’m honest about dark thoughts?

No — telling us you’re struggling, even with thoughts of suicide, does not mean you’ll be hospitalized.

Involuntary care is rare. It’s reserved for immediate danger only. Our first response is always making a plan with you.

What you share stays private. The law allows only narrow exceptions, like when someone is in immediate danger. Details are in our privacy notice (PDF).

What if I’m running late?

Call us if you’re running late. Policy details coming soon

Might I need labs or tests?

Sometimes. Some medications require blood work (labs), a heart rhythm check (EKG), or a urine screening.

If your care plan needs any of these, we tell you everything up front.
